FACT: As of 2016, in Tennessee, over 35,000 people were unemployed and over 28,500 children were homeless.

"When I hear those numbers, I feel appreciative, because I'm not in that stat," reflected Cheryl, a Just.Glass employee. "But, I feel sad for the children and the parents who have no place to go. I've been there, I know. [Six] years ago my son and I were homeless."

Today, Cheryl works for Just.Glass, a curbside glass recycling program that hires people who are reclaiming their life and building a strong employment record.

FACT: One ton of carbon dioxide is reduced for every six tons of recycled glass that are used in the manufacturing process.

"I am glad to be part of THAT stat," claimed Cheryl. "It makes me want to go out and get more glass. Seriously, it does!"

FACT: Just.Glass is a curbside glass recycling program that employs people who are working hard to break the cycle of unemployment and poverty. Just.Glass subscribers make a difference in two ways:

  1. by reducing carbon dioxide emissions, AND

  2. by providing employment for the unemployed.
