What Can You Expect If You Sign Up for Just.Glass Services? It's Simple!
Maybe you’re thinking about signing up for Just.Glass recycling services, but you’re not really sure what happens after you do. We’re here to tell you, it’s really pretty simple! Here’s the rundown for residential customers. (If you’re a business or a community property, contact us for custom-tailored arrangements.)
Sign up! It’s $16 per month with no monthly commitment—you’re free to cancel at any time. The price includes one free recycling bin and glass pickup two times per month, once every two weeks.
Start collecting glass (or continue—maybe you’ve been collecting for awhile?) On your first pickup, we’ll pick up any glass you’ve collected in a paper bag or box. Glass prep is minimal:
Remove the lids/corks (labels are ok).
Empty and rinse the container.
For glass candle containers, remove any candle wax on or in container. (Here’s a handy guide with 4 ways to do this from Architectural Digest.)
On your pickup day, leave your glass in a visible location by 8:00 a.m., preferably near the curb. On your first pickup, we’ll take what you’ve collected in your paper bag or box, and we’ll drop off your Just.Glass bin to use for collection from here on out.
The bin is 18 gallons, blue with the Just.Glass logo on the side. Dimensions: Length 23” Width 16” Height 14”. For most customers, it’s the perfect size to collect glass for 2 weeks at a time.
On each pickup day thereafter, leave your bin in a visible location by 8:00 a.m., preferably near the curb.
We will notify you by email the week of your pickup, and we’ll also notify you of shifts in service for holidays. If inclement weather influences our service, we will notify you by email and will return to pick it up within a few days.
